Microstation Workshop Two

The second Microstation Workshop expanded on the skills learnt in workshop one to allow me to begin to model in a single 3D isometric view, using the ACS movement paths. The workshop also introduced some more of the busic tools including the copy and move tools, as well an introduction to the use of the level manager to make models easier to understand and organise.
This second workshop created a simple two story column and beam structrue which can easily be expanded to introduce floors, wall, doors and windows in the future.
Final workshop two model in 'illistration - model' display setting.
The level manager is very similar to the layer manager of AutoCad. The level manager allows you to create 'levels' of the model for different components and parts. This allows for similar components to be coloured arcordingly and also giving the ability to 'turn off' levels to display only the imformation needed, making the modeling process alot easier and less complicated.

For workshop two only 4 different levels are used, one for the columns and beams on each level. This levels have all been marked with different colours, making this model easier to understand and easier to use in the future.

Workshop two was another rather simple task to complete. The tools learnt are basic but make Microstation and the modelling process a lot simpler.
